When Rhea told me she was flying everybody to Batanes for her wedding, I knew it was going to be one for the books. Batanes is gorgeous, serving as the perfect spot for every portrait, every moment to shoot. I was certain I would have beautiful photos.
Rhea and Ingo surprised me, however, with a wedding that’s truly one of a kind. Months leading up to the big day, she set up a facebook event page for all their handpicked 40 guests and us suppliers. She set the mood for everyone to start talking even before we all met in Batanes, sharing little anecdotes about their love story and about what’s going to happen on their big day.
Everybody arrived in Batanes a day before Rhea and Ingo’s wedding and the couple prepared for everybody, including us the suppliers a tour.
So the happy, relaxed vibe continued on till the next day, their wedding day. Rhea and Ingo handpicked their secondary sponsors moments before the ceremony, with Arlene, the maid of honor, as the “coordinator.” Normally, last minute decisions coupled with the absence of a wedding coordinator results to chaos, but Rhea and Ingo’s wedding felt seamless. It felt right, it felt fun, it felt relaxed. Everything was lovely. They let things happen, and they had a wedding memorable to everyone.
I would like to borrow Rhea’s exact words on why she chose Batanes as the place to exchange I do’s: Batanes is “firm, grounded, and able to roll with whatever challenges hurled its way”.

Good day, do you also take pictures/shots of lands in Batanes or do you focus only on weddings? Do you do areal shots? We need areal shots of lands there. Thank you.
