The first time Mico & Iana told us about their wedding was sometime 2019. Supposed to be held in Tagaytay in Feb 2020, they had to move their wedding to lowland Manila a month after, which was March 2020.
As we all know, that’s when pandemic hit and lockdowns happened. In other words, the wedding didn’t happen.
At least not how they planned it to.
While the whole world was on lockdown, they walked hand in hand to the city hall, with just a photographer, a bridal bouquet, and each other. It was simple and straightforward, but it said a lot about their love and commitment for each other. Love made them do it, and after Plans A & B didn’t work, they were finally married.
That’s not the end of the story yet though. Months after, they finally had their dream wedding. They had a heartfelt ceremony in front of their guest list all the way back from 2019, and I know both of them would say it was all worth it. The anticipation, setbacks, and everything else that happened in between their planning stage in 2019 to when it finally happened on March 4, 2022 – all of these made their wedding day the best.
It’s a blessing to see your love for each other grow every day Mico & Iana, we love you!
