Henry & Kristine chose El Nido as their wedding venue. As their wedding photographers, we saw how it just fits them perfectly:
They were the most chill couple. We’ve noticed that couples who choose destination weddings, especially island weddings, are super chill. They have a relaxed vibe, which just makes so much sense, because why pack so many activities in an island that you can simply enjoy in? Prior to their wedding day, they hosted a dinner with their handful of guests – friends and family who flew all the way to El Nido, from all over the world. Aside from that and their wedding ceremony, Henry & Kristine just lounged around in the island. We were of course there to capture the candids as they happened, and so the result is a set of photographs of a happy couple just spending a great time with the people they love.
It is also worth noting that it rained on their wedding day. For any other couple, it might be the worst thing. After all, you choose the beach and you expect it to be sunny for an outdoor ceremony right? But Henry & Kristine just made the most out of it, frolicking in their rain-soaked wedding outfits.
They love the water. It was raining throughout the ceremony, so everybody went back to their rooms to change for the reception. We didn’t expect that Henry & Kristine would be out on a paddle board!
Quickly grabbed our cameras and took some snaps – nice that they’re still in their wedding outfits, cool that they didn’t care to change into something “comfier” for the activity.
