6 Alternative Tagaytay Wedding Venues Near Manila

With the Taal volcano’s ceaseless activity, a lot of our brides have moved their weddings from the Tagaytay/Batangas area to other places outside Taal’s danger zone. While we are hopeful that the Phivolcs will soon declare it safe to be around the volcano, it’s best to explore other venues that offer both the practicality and beauty of Tagaytay. Here are eight venues we have already shot weddings in, all within driving distance from the Metro.

  1. El Kabayo, Subic

With Megan Young and Mikael Daez’s recent wedding In this sprawling property earning nods from brides, we think El Kabayo is the next big thing in wedding venues. While we haven’t shot a complete wedding here, we’ve come back again and again for pre-wedding shoots. It’s a favorite among brides – it has greens, it’s accessible, and it has the horses!

  1. Ayala Greenfield Estates

While this place is in the South, it is outside the reach of Taal, even during level 4 warnings. It’s a windy garden venue perfect for Christian weddings, renewal of vows, and receptions.

  1. Thunderbird Resort, La Union

Let’s move a bit north! This reminds us a bit of our favorite Tagaytay spots, Meteora and ___. Clean whites, beach, and resort-level service from preps to reception. We think this makes a great venue for your wedding without having to fly out of the city.

  1. Anvaya Cove, Bataan

If you’ve been imagining your wedding against the shores with a clear view of Taal, the shores of Anvaya Cove in Bataan can be a great Plan B. A big plus? The sunset there is gorgeous, perfect for post-wedding portraits in between!

  1. The Mango Farm, Antipolo

Right after the Taal eruption, Vatel Manila of The Mango Farm Antipolo posted in their social media accounts that they are opening dates for Tagaytay brides who are looking for new venues. We think it’s very thoughtful of them to reach out to brides like that, knowing how it can be stressful to have to move a whole event that’s been in planning for months. Also, there’s a reason why this is a popular venue. It’s really gorgeous and photogenic!

  1. Fernwood Gardens

The one closest to Manila among our listed places, Fernwood Gardens give romantic vibes against lush greens. It’s a place specifically created for weddings! That doesn’t mean though that you can’t make it your own. There are a lot of elements you can play with so that the whole feel of your wedding matches the aesthetic you like.

TESTIMONIALS

The moment we got engaged, Bryan and I knew that we wanted our photos to be bright, light and of course, timeless! Foreveryday was already on top of the list of the major suppliers we needed to book. The night we met them, my heart was so happy knowing that we were in good hands! They didn’t only help us with our photos but also extended their help in choosing other suppliers. Such generous people!

I had the opportunity to work with Foreveryday team twice! Yes, that’s right, twice! They are the photographer of our dreams and we still wonder if their cameras were touched by fairy dust as their pictures were just magical!

We knew you were the one for us the moment we stumbled upon your IG profile! Thank you for capturing our silliest and happiest moments during our wedding. Kudos for turning our awkward poses to model-esque images!
